Position Overview

Designing and implementing secure systems, networks, and applications to protect our organization from evolving cyber threats. Your expertise in security architecture and principles will play a critical role in ensuring that security posture remains robust.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive security architectures that address the organization’s needs and align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and enhance security frameworks for systems, networks, and applications, ensuring they are resilient to current and emerging threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls and principles into the software development lifecycle and other operational processes.
  • Provide expert guidance on Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and technologies, including multi-factor authentication and role-based access control.
  • Conduct security assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities in architectures and recommend effective remediation strategies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and influence security strategy.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or specialized security education are highly valued.
  • Deep understanding of security architecture principles, including the design and implementation of secure systems, networks, and applications.
  • Strong understanding of IAM principles and technologies, specifically multi-factor authentication and access controls.
  • Typically, 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with at least3-5 years in a senior or architecture-focused capacity. Experience in designing and implementing security solutions is crucial.
